CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Postal Department of the Government of India is organizing the 17th “Employment Fair” at the Coordination Bhawan in Bhopal. This fair is being held to provide appointment letters to over 51,000 selected candidates across the country for various central offices such as the Postal Department, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Higher Education, Department of Financial Services, and various public sector undertakings of the central government. The fair will be conducted in 40 cities, including Bhopal. In Bhopal, 179 selected candidates from various central departments and undertakings will receive their appointment letters today.
The fair will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi via live broadcast. On this occasion, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Rural Development, will be present in Bhopal as the chief guest. The Prime Minister’s live address from Delhi will be made available to these 179 selected candidates and other dignitaries at the Bhopal center. After the Prime Minister’s address, Shivraj Singh Chouhan will hand over the appointment letters to these 179 candidates.
Special guests at the employment fair include Vishwas Sarang, Minister of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh Government; Krishna Gaur, Minister of State for Backward Classes & Minority Welfare (Independent Charge); Alok Sharma, Member of Parliament, Bhopal Parliamentary Constituency; Malti Rai, Mayor, Bhopal Municipal Corporation; Rameshwar Sharma, MLA, Huzur Bhopal; Arif Masood, MLA, Bhopal Madhya; Atif Aqil, MLA, Bhopal Uttar; Bhagwandas Sabnani, MLA, Bhopal Southwest; Vishnu Khatri, MLA, Bairsia.
The Chief Postmaster General of Madhya Pradesh Postal Circle and other senior departmental officers reviewed the preparations for this employment fair, instructing all concerned to ensure the convenience of candidates, proper registration arrangements, counseling stalls, and well-organized information desks during the event.
