CNN Central News & Network – ITDC India Express / ITDC News Bhopal: To promote technical education and encourage students who have passed the 10th grade to enroll in employment-oriented diploma courses, a special “Promotional Van” was flagged off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Polytechnic College, Bhopal. This van will tour Bhopal city and surrounding rural areas, informing students and their parents about technical education courses, admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and career opportunities.
For the academic session 2025–26, the Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh, has already started the admission process for technical and vocational courses. The aim of this initiative is to connect more students with technical education and provide them opportunities to become self-reliant.
On this occasion, Commissioner of Technical Education Awadhesh Sharma, Director Virendra Kumar, Principal K.V. Rao, along with several officials, teachers, and students were present. The officials shared motivational insights on the benefits of technical education and future career prospects with the students.
This initiative will not only serve as a medium to take technical education to the masses but will also be a strong step toward youth empowerment.
