CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Sarojini Naidu Government Girls Postgraduate (Autonomous) College, Bhopal, organized an “Employment-Oriented Refresher Course” for tribal students and a “Skill Development Awareness Program” for students of Science, Mathematics, and Commerce faculties, as per the directives of the Higher Education Department.
In the first session of the program, Secretary of the Scheduled Tribes Commission, Seema Soni, and Head of the Tribal Training Center, Vinita Srivastava, provided detailed insights into government-run training programs and employment opportunities available for ST students.
Director Seema Soni informed that pre-examination training centers are operational at the seven divisional headquarters of Madhya Pradesh for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students. These centers provide free training for competitive exams such as MP Public Service Commission (MPPSC), Banking, Railways, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), and Staff Selection Commission (SSC).
She further mentioned that 50% of the seats in these centers are reserved for female candidates, and the training is entirely free of cost. Additionally, these centers also offer training for international entrance exams like TOEFL, GRE, and IELTS for students aspiring to study abroad.
