CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal / New Delhi: The Annual Fest of the Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Bhopal, a constituent of NCERT, concluded with great enthusiasm and celebration. The chief guest of the event was Bhagwandas Sabnani, BJP State General Secretary and MLA. The special guest was Prof. P.C. Agrawal, Joint Director of NCERT (joined online), and the keynote speaker was Prof. Ashutosh Kumar Singh, Director of IIIT Bhopal.
The event commenced with floral tributes to the idol of Goddess Saraswati and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Principal Shiv Kumar Gupta welcomed the guests and highlighted the institute’s key achievements. Priya Nirala, a student who excelled in multiple domains during the academic year 2023–24, was honored with the Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Gold Medal.

Students who showed outstanding performance in cultural, literary, scientific, and sports activities were awarded trophies. The Yellow House (Savitribai Phule) won the Overall Champion Trophy.
Chief Guest Bhagwandas Sabnani encouraged students to fulfill their responsibilities toward nature and the nation. Prof. P.C. Agrawal emphasized the role of self-confident teachers, while Prof. Ashutosh Singh inspired the youth to contribute actively to nation-building.

Cultural presentations by students captivated the audience, including a classical dance based on the Ramayana, Garba, folk dance, and yoga performances. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Saurabh Kumar and the national anthem.
