CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Regional Science Center, Bhopal, organized a series of programs for students and the general public. As part of the event, rare plants were planted in the science park of the center. On this occasion, Ms. Nidhi Chauhan, Divisional Forest Officer of the Forest Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, planted saplings. A total of 50 plants were planted within the center’s premises in collaboration with the Forest Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Additionally, a drawing competition on the theme “Eradicate Plastic Pollution” was organized among school students, in which a total of 66 students participated. Furthermore, an exhibition corner on “Plastic and Its Alternatives” was also held. All the meritorious participants of the drawing competition will be awarded prizes and certificates.
Communication Officer Prem Chandra Gupta and CBC Administrative Officer S.K. Srivastava also took part in the plantation drive. Employees and players from PIB, CBC, and SAI Bhopal were also present during the event.
