CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the death anniversary of former Chief Minister Babulal Gaur, a blood donation and health check-up camp will be organized at the college on August 21, 2024. The Janbhagidari Committee is committed to creating a better academic environment and developing infrastructure for the upcoming NAAC evaluation. They will also seek support from the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund for this purpose. Decisions to better develop the Vidyavan and Indian Knowledge Tradition Cell within the college campus were unanimously made during the General Council meeting of the Janbhagidari Committee of Babulal Gaur Government Postgraduate College, BHEL.

In the General Council meeting of the Janbhagidari Committee, held under the chairmanship of Mr. Barelal Ahirwar at BHEL College, it was unanimously decided that on August 21, the death anniversary of the former Chief Minister, blood donation, health check-up camps, and tree plantation will be organized. Additionally, Independence Day on August 15 will be celebrated with enthusiasm, with mandatory participation from all regular students. On this occasion, meritorious students will also be honored. A research coordination cell will be established in the college, where literature related to Babulal Gaur’s life will be kept and made easily accessible for researchers and the general public.

Efforts will be made to secure CSR funds for creating a better academic environment and infrastructure development before the upcoming NAAC evaluation. Various departments will be provided with appropriate infrastructure. The college’s beautification, artistic decoration, thoughtful writing, cultural programs, etc., will be expended as needed. The Indian Knowledge Tradition Cell and Vidyavan will be developed according to the directives of the Higher Education Department, with support from the AYUSH Department. A committee will be formed to decide on a partial revision of the fee increase to provide better facilities and environment for the students.

At the beginning of the meeting, Principal Secretary Dr. Sanjay Jain welcomed and congratulated all the honorable members present, including the esteemed chairman, and informed them that a lab equipped with 40 computers, a smart class, and a virtual conference room have been developed with the support of the World Bank RUSA in the last session. This was met with joy by all. Present as the Vice President were Tehsildar Anamika Sarraf, City Administrator BHEL Administration Representative Singh, and other honorable members like Rajesh Khandelwal, Tej Singh Thakur, Anshul Yadav, Hiralal Thakur, Malti Pandey, Vitthalrao Warskar, Kartar Singh Nagar, Khilan Singh, and Dr. Anjana Agrawal actively participated. After considering the issue raised by Tej Singh Thakur, it was decided that services provided through outsourcing by personnel from the Janbhagidari and self-financed course funds will be recommended for regularization, if eligible, following government directives. Immediate arrangements for future services of all personnel based on monthly appraisal reports will be made.
