CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress / ITDC News Bhopal: Administrator of the Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Limited, Mahendra Singh Yadav, visited the Berasia branch of the Bhopal Cooperative Central Bank Limited. During the visit, he conducted a detailed review of the progress related to the expansion of the cooperative movement, energy conservation initiatives, the Membership Mega Campaign, and the Green Cooperative Campaign. He also issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials.
Call for Energy Conservation and Vocal for Local
Administrator Mahendra Yadav highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s national appeal of “Save Fuel–Save Energy” in view of the ongoing global energy crisis. He urged all officers and employees associated with the cooperative and agricultural sectors to actively participate in the noble mission of energy conservation. He also instructed officials to promote the “Vocal for Local” campaign and encourage maximum use of local products to strengthen the local economy.
Expressing commitment toward environmental protection, Administrator Yadav guided officials to provide a new direction to environmental conservation and rural development through the Green Cooperative Campaign. He further directed that plantation targets under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” mega campaign should be completed with full dedication and within the stipulated timeline at both the bank headquarters and Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Societies (PACS) levels.

Farmers’ Welfare and Membership Mega Campaign
Administrator Yadav reviewed the progress of the Membership Mega Campaign being conducted from April 14 to June 30, 2026, under the resolution of Farmers’ Welfare Year 2026. He instructed officials to ensure that the maximum number of farmers across the state are connected with cooperative societies within the prescribed timeline so that the farming community can avail the maximum benefits of the cooperative sector.
E-Vikas System and Interaction with Farmers
To provide farmers with smooth and transparent services, Administrator Yadav directly interacted with farmers regarding the efficient fertilizer distribution system through e-tokens under the E-Vikas system and discussed other contemporary issues. He also proposed a positive initiative to honor selected member farmers during the upcoming annual general meetings of B-PACS institutions, which would further strengthen farmers’ morale and their trust in the cooperative system.
On this occasion, Officer on Special Duty Abhay Pradhan, Chief Executive Officer of Bhopal Cooperative Central Bank Limited Geetesh Lilhore, Marketing Officer Nimesh Shahi, and Berasia Branch Manager Sameeullah Qureshi were present during the visit.
