CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Addressing research scholars from across the country enrolled in the Pre-PhD coursework conducted by the Research Centre of the Bhopal Campus of Central Sanskrit University, it was stated that an ideal researcher must shape research conclusions through well-structured references supported by strong and authentic evidence. In today’s age of technology, most research material is readily available on the internet; however, it is essential to present the authenticity of research along with verified and credible references.
Govind Pandey delivered the welcome address, and the course coordinator informed the participants that Manish Sharma is known as a serious scholar of research references in the discipline of Economics under the Social Sciences. Subodh Sharma stated that Central Sanskrit University is promoting multidisciplinary research. Under the National Education Policy 2020, pathways have been created for Sanskrit researchers to move forward in the direction of interdisciplinary research. He emphasized that researchers should work diligently in this direction and undertake interdisciplinary research so that their future may be bright.
As the second speaker, Vijay Shankar Shukla from Varanasi delivered a lecture focused on Matrika Vigyan (the science of scripts/letters). He explained that the literature received through the oral Shruti tradition of the sages, which is available in handwritten form, is encompassed within Matrika Vigyan. The process of editing and revising such texts is regarded as the science of manuscript editing or palaeography.
The vote of thanks was presented by the Research Centre Coordinator, Kripa Shankar Sharma.
