“FAICO Fellowship Exam to Be Held at AIIMS Bhopal”

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the guidance of AIIMS Bhopal’s Executive Director Ajay Singh, the most prestigious fellowship exam of the All India Collegium of Ophthalmology (FAICO) is being held this year at the Department of Ophthalmology at AIIMS Bhopal. The ‘Fellow of All India Collegium of Ophthalmology (FAICO)’ in Cornea sub-specialty is regarded as one of the most esteemed fellowships awarded to ophthalmologists in the country.

Previously conducted exclusively at AIIMS Delhi, this year marks the first time that the second phase of this examination will be hosted at AIIMS Bhopal. This milestone reflects the institute’s growing reputation and excellence in the field of ophthalmology. The FAICO fellowship in Cornea sub-specialty is considered the highest recognition in the field of ophthalmology. This year, 14 candidates have successfully cleared the first phase of the exam and will now participate in the second phase at AIIMS Bhopal. The recipients of this prestigious fellowship will earn a certification of excellence, establishing them as leading experts in the Cornea sub-specialty across the country.

Director Singh called this significant achievement a symbol of the institute’s progress and its increasing prestige in ophthalmology.
