Fathers play an important role in keeping their families healthy. Through proper nutrition and care, men can empower their families. To highlight this, BMHRC organized awareness programs at all its centers on the topic “Father’s Role in Nutrition and Care”.
On the fifth day of the ongoing Healthy Women, Empowered Family Campaign, general health check-ups for men were conducted at all eight health centers. Discussions emphasized the father’s role alongside women in strengthening the family and provided guidance on diet and nutrition. According to In-charge Director Manisha Srivastava, the primary goal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaign is to empower families, and men play a key role in providing proper nutrition. To support this, BMHRC conducted discussions and general check-ups on “Father’s Role in Nutrition and Care” at its health centers.
Vision Rath for Eye Care
On the fifth day of the service fortnight, In-charge Director Dr. Manisha Srivastava inaugurated the Vision Rath by waving the green flag. Eye specialists visited Arwalia and Parwalia villages to conduct eye examinations for the general public, checking for cataracts, glaucoma, and other eye conditions. Free examinations and treatments were provided, and patients requiring further care were referred to BMHRC for continued treatment. The Vision Rath facilitated community health screening and treatment, with special attention given to women and girls.
Hepatitis-B Vaccination
As part of the service fortnight, the Gastro Medicine Department conducted Hepatitis-B vaccination for disease prevention. This free vaccination camp, organized by BMHRC’s Blood Bank and Gastro Medicine Department, also provided public awareness on symptoms and prevention of hepatitis.
