The Federal Bureau of Investigation in the United States has placed gangster Satinderjit Singh, alias Goldy Brar, on its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. The FBI has announced a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to his arrest. The amount is equivalent to about ₹8.8 crore to ₹9 crore in Indian currency. Goldy Brar is the 543rd fugitive to be added to the list.
According to the FBI, Brar faces allegations linked to his alleged association with the Lawrence Bishnoi organised crime group and his leadership in North America. The US agency says the network is accused of involvement in criminal activities including targeted killings, shootings, kidnapping, extortion, and drug and arms trafficking.
Several charges have been filed against Brar in a federal court in Los Angeles. These include conspiracy to commit organised crime, conspiracy to interfere with commerce by extortion, and conspiracy to distribute controlled substances. According to the FBI, he is currently located in the United States and is the alleged head of this criminal network in North America.
The action follows the United States’ Operation Hardball. US authorities announced charges in July 2026 against 37 people from three international criminal organisations linked to India. The FBI said it will continue searching for Brar in coordination with law enforcement agencies in Canada and other countries. The agency has appealed to the public not to try to apprehend him or approach him, but to pass any information to the authorities.
