CNN Central News & Networks / ITDC India ePress / ITDC News /Agencies/ Bhopal: Mumbai. In view of the rising rush of passengers travelling home during the festival season, the Railways has decided to run a special train between Bandra Terminus and Gorakhpur. The operation of this train will make it easier for passengers from Uttar Pradesh living in Mumbai and nearby areas to reach their hometowns. At a time when regular trains see long waiting lists and a shortage of seats during festivals, this service may provide relief.
The Railways has finalised the schedule related to the dates of operation, departure and arrival timings, and stoppages of the special train. Passengers have been advised to check the complete train schedule and seat availability through the Railways’ official reservation system before planning their journey.
Reservations on the special train will be made according to the rules prescribed by the Railways. Passengers have been advised to book tickets in time to avoid inconvenience during festival travel.
