A case has emerged in Chhattisgarh involving alleged assault on a businessman and a demand for Rs 4 crore in extortion in connection with an old land deal. In the matter, an FIR has been registered against six people, including Anwar Dhebar. The businessman has alleged that he was assaulted during a dispute over an old land transaction and that Rs 4 crore was demanded from him.
It has been stated that the dispute linked to the land deal is an old one. Tension had been continuing between the businessman and the accused over the same matter. It is alleged that during the dispute, the businessman was assaulted and was told to pay Rs 4 crore. After the incident, the businessman filed a complaint with the police.
On the basis of the complaint, police have registered a case against six people, including Anwar Dhebar. The FIR includes allegations related to extortion demand and assault. At present, all allegations in the matter are to be investigated and verified as part of police action.
