CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: *Bhopal, December 21, 2024: As part of the nationwide *Fit India Sundays on Cycle initiative, the Sports Authority of India (SAI) CRC Bhopal will host a special cycling event tomorrow morning, encouraging athletes, coaches, and staff to embrace fitness through cycling. The event is part of the larger Fit India Sundays on Cycle program, which is being held in over 1,000 cities across the country.
The initiative, launched under the vision of Hon’ble Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, is aimed at promoting health and well-being through regular physical activity. Dr. Mandaviya’s vision for a “Viksit Bharat” (developed India) stresses the importance of fitness as a cornerstone for a healthier, stronger nation.

Along with Bhopal similar events will take place in 7 different cities across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh including Tikamgarh, Dhaar, Jabalpur, Raipur, Rajnandgaon, Indore and Shivpuri.
Dr. Mandaviya emphasized, “Cycling is an effective way to improve one’s health while also caring for the environment. As we move towards a healthier India, initiatives like Fit India Sundays on Cycle help instill fitness in everyday life, making it a habit for people of all ages.”
