CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A fitness test was conducted today at Sant Hirdaram Girls College, Bhopal under the Join NCC Drive for the enrollment of new NCC cadets. The event was held with the active support and supervision of 1 MP Naval Unit NCC, Bhopal.
On this occasion, PI Staff POCOM (Tel) Preetam Sarkar and PO (GS) Bhanu Pratap Sharma were present. They motivated the students and appreciated the college management’s initiative in promoting discipline and patriotism among the youth.
The fitness test included a variety of physical and personality assessment activities such as running, push-ups, crunches, drill, posture evaluation, and interviews. The goal was to identify students who are physically fit, active, and genuinely interested in joining NCC.
Principal Dr. Dalima Parwani, while addressing the participants, stated that only those students will be enrolled in NCC who are willing, disciplined, and physically capable, ensuring outstanding performance in the future. She encouraged the students to have love for the nation and to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly.
Dr. Parwani congratulated NCC Officer Shanti Sharma for the successful organization of the event and extended special thanks to CC Bhoomika and PO Palak Maran for guiding the new students and helping shape them into cadets.
The program concluded with a strong sense of patriotism and enthusiasm.
