CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country, including in Madhya Pradesh. From the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, to Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister, Dr. Mohan Yadav, state ministers, and district collectors, all hoisted the national flag in their respective jurisdictions. In Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh’s Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Rakesh Shukla, hoisted the flag at his B-19, 74 Bungalows residence, where a four-guard salute was given.
On the occasion of the flag hoisting, the minister’s special assistant Mahendra Dwivedi, personal secretary Manoj Gotiwale, Thakur Sanjay Pundhir, Pandit Shivakant Tripathi, V.K. Vyas, and the minister’s staff were present. After the flag hoisting, refreshments and sweets were distributed.
