CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A four-day inter-class Youth Festival was organized at Barkatullah University, Bhopal. On the first day, students’ registration, verification, and presentation of rules were conducted. The three-day festival was held under the guidance of Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Professor S.K. Jain. The program was overseen by Dean of Student Welfare, Professor Pawan Mishra, and Cultural Coordinator, Professor Anshuja Tiwari.
The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of S.K. Khatik, Professor Pawan Mishra, R.K. Garg, Kapil Soni, and Narayan Jamod. Program Coordinator, Professor Anshuja Tiwari, gave the welcome speech and outlined the schedule of events for the upcoming three days. The first day featured competitions in rangoli, poster making, clay modeling, painting, collage, and casting, which saw enthusiastic participation from students.
On the third day, November 7, 2024, competitions in quiz, debate, speech, solo instrumental, and solo singing were held in the Shipra Auditorium of the Vice-Chancellor’s office. The judging panel included Professors Shashank Shekhar Thakur, Vipin Vyas, Anita Tilwari, Dr. Sunita Snehi, Ashwini Rangnekar, Ullas Telang, Kapil Soni, Rupali Shewalkar, and Rekha Khandiya.
The final day included competitions in skit, solo dance, and group dance at the Shipra Auditorium. Winners of the 22 different events in the Youth Festival will have the opportunity to compete at the district level. The Youth Festival aims to encourage social service, leadership development, and community involvement among the youth.
The festival concluded under the chairmanship of Professor S.K. Jain, Vice-Chancellor. All university faculty, the Dean of Student Welfare, staff members, and guest lecturers, including Tripti Shukla, Dr. Rakhi Soni, and Dr. Jyoti Thakur, contributed to the successful organization of the event.
