CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal: To provide relief to passengers amid intense heat and rising temperatures, the Bhopal Division of West Central Railway has further strengthened drinking water facilities at stations. Under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Pankaj Tyagi and the leadership of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria, free chilled and clean drinking water is being made available to passengers at the division’s major railway stations.
Giving priority to passenger convenience, a special water service campaign is being run with the support of various non-governmental organisations and voluntary groups at 14 major railway stations of the Bhopal Division, including Vidisha, Narmadapuram, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Ashoknagar, Ganj Basoda, Khirkiya, Mandi Bamora, Ruthiyai, Harda, Bhopal, Guna, Badarwas, Mungaoli and Shajapur.

Under this campaign, volunteers are providing chilled and clean drinking water to passengers in a spirit of service. During water distribution, special care is being taken to maintain all standards of cleanliness and quality so that passengers receive safe and pure drinking water. In the summer season, this arrangement is proving especially beneficial for long-distance travellers and general class passengers.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria said the Bhopal Division is continuously making efforts to provide better facilities to passengers. He said that in this difficult phase of summer, the additional drinking water arrangement is an important initiative towards providing relief to passengers, and such efforts to expand passenger amenities will continue in the future.
