CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A free eye check-up camp for senior citizens was organised today at Anand Ashram, Shivaji Nagar old age home, Bhopal, under the leadership of Dr A.K. Choudhary and Inderjit Jaggi of LN Medical College and J.K. Hospital, Bhopal.

At the camp, an expert team led by Dr Rahul Agrawal, Head of the Ophthalmology Department, from LN Medical College and J.K. Hospital examined the eyes of senior citizens and provided necessary medical advice.

During the camp, health and blood-related tests were also conducted for 25 senior citizens. In the eye examination, 12 patients were selected for cataract surgery. The selected patients were requested to visit J.K. Hospital for the required treatment and operation.

Senior citizens who had vision-related problems were also encouraged to avail free spectacles as needed, and information was provided about further medical facilities.

The team of doctors also made the senior citizens aware of the importance of regular eye check-ups, proper care and timely treatment.

Gratitude was expressed to all officials, doctors, medical team members and associates who helped in the successful organisation of the camp and in providing health services to the senior citizens.
