CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: LN Medical College and JK Hospital in Bhopal, in collaboration with DK Social Welfare Group, B.C.C., and Genesis, organized a free health camp and breast cancer awareness campaign in Baba Nagar. The event provided community members with access to essential health services.
The camp included free health check-ups and the distribution of necessary medicines. The initiative was led by Dr. A.K. Choudhary (Director, LN Medical College), Dr. D.K. Pal (Academic Dean and Head of PSM), and Dr. Priya Singh Kushwaha (MS, FMAS).
Dr. Achintya Jain (Founder & Chairperson of DK Social Welfare Group and Founder of B.C.C.), Dr. Sarthak Jain (Founder and Executive Director of Genesis Organization, Executive Manager B.C.C.), Dr. Saumya Jain (Program Manager B.C.C.), and Dr. Roshni Vaskale (Outreach Manager) played key roles in making the camp successful. Additionally, volunteers like Mrs. Usha Chaudhary, Pooja Srivas, Mr. Ramvilas, and Mr. Sumedh Ramteke made commendable contributions.
The objective of the event was not only to provide general healthcare services but also to raise awareness about breast cancer. Community members received valuable health information from professionals and benefited from the health check-ups.
Medical students from JK Hospital, including Priyanka Charpota, Khushboo Sharma, Shruti Jain, Pranjal Mehta, Alishba Hussain, Rahul Muvel, Sanjay Gupta, Radheshyam Yadav, Sejal Parihar, Vini Rathore, Mehak Bhumarkar, Shailvi Malliwal, Harshita Javre, Shivani Porwal, Abhivyakti Rathore, Aanchal Yadav, Naini Chile, Ritika Malvi, Pragati Gaur, Raveena Parwar, Jyotsna Jain, Priyanka Singh, and Parul Varkade, volunteered their services in the camp.
This initiative marks an important step toward a healthier community, with plans for more health programs in the future.
