CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A five-day joint international training program on “Empowering Technical, Vocational Education, and Training: An Initiative on Future Skills and Emerging Technologies” is being organized from November 11 to 15 by NITTTR Bhopal and CPSC Manila.
The Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC Manila) was established in 1973 by 26 countries and is an organization that conducts training programs on topics related to improving the quality of technical education and training in the Asia-Pacific region.
Providing details about the program, NITTTR Director Prof. C.C. Tripathi stated that new skills and competencies are essential in the field of technical and vocational education and training to meet current demands. Considering the workforce requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) and beyond, capabilities such as digital literacy and critical thinking must be developed. Participants from 16 countries are taking part in this program. A one-day international seminar will also be held on November 13, where teachers and PhD scholars can participate. CPSC Manila’s Director General S.K. Dhameja will also be present at the event. The program coordinator is Prof. R.P. Khambayat.
