The traffic delay also prompted Gadkari to discuss the need for modern solutions to address ageing infrastructure and improve mobility in Mumbai. He pitched the use of new technology as a possible alternative for replacing or upgrading old flyovers and other road infrastructure.
Gadkari has repeatedly emphasised the importance of adopting innovative construction methods and modern engineering technologies to improve India’s transport network.
