CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Galgotias University and L&T EduTech, the education arm of Larsen & Toubro, are strengthening their industry-academia partnership through specialised, industry-integrated learning pathways for the 2026 intake. The collaboration is designed to bridge the gap between academic education and evolving workforce requirements by giving students greater exposure to practical engineering, emerging technologies, and real-world industrial applications.
The programmes cover advanced domains including AI-enabled manufacturing, semiconductor technologies, Industrial IoT, cybersecurity, smart infrastructure systems, applied data science, and digital engineering. Students enrolled in these pathways receive semester-wise industry exposure through applied projects, guided assignments, simulations, expert interactions, and practical technology learning. The approach aims to develop technical capabilities alongside workplace readiness and problem-solving skills.
A major component of the partnership is the Advanced EV Centre of Excellence established at Galgotias University, providing hands-on exposure to live electric vehicles, battery modules, battery-management systems, powertrains, charging infrastructure, diagnostics, motors, controllers, and embedded mobility technologies.
The collaboration reflects a growing emphasis on experiential education and industry-aligned curriculum in higher education. With 336 students already pursuing four-year industry-integrated pathways through L&T EduTech, the initiative is expected to create stronger opportunities for innovation, skill development, research, and employment while preparing students for rapidly changing technology-driven industries.
