CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, students at the Nutan Girls’ Hostel of Sarojini Naidu Government Autonomous Postgraduate Girls’ College, Bhopal, ceremonially installed an idol of Lord Ganesh. With the Ganpati installation, the hostel has been filled each day with worship, aarti and an atmosphere of devotion and festivity.
College principal Dr. Pratima Yadav, hostel warden Dr. Sanjana Sharma, hostel committee faculty members Dr. Seema Pathak and Dr. Shalini Pradhan, along with all the students, participated enthusiastically in the special aarti programme.
The students filled the entire hostel with a devotional atmosphere through captivating presentations of beautiful bhajans, songs and Ganesh stuti. After the aarti, the students performed garba and dance with joy and enthusiasm. Chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya” filled the hostel campus with devotion and celebration.
This beautiful confluence of devotion, music, dance and cultural enthusiasm became a vivid example of unity and collective participation in the hostel.
At the end of the programme, prasad of Lord Ganesh was distributed. All the students took part in the programme with enthusiasm and reverence and received the blessings of Ganpati Bappa.
