CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Gati Shakti University’s Aviation Safety Management Training Gati Shakti University (GSV) has launched its first executive training program for the aviation sector at the Center for Transport Research and Management (CTRAM) in New Delhi. This three-day training program, focused on “Safety Management Systems,” is designed for working professionals and is being conducted in collaboration with Airbus.

The program has received an enthusiastic response, with participation from major airlines such as IndiGo and Vistara, as well as representatives from Airbus and the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Notably, international professionals, including four participants from Nepal and Bhutan, are also attending this course. The instructors for the program are leading industry experts.

The course was inaugurated by Group Captain GVG Yugandhar, Director General of the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, and Sunil Bhaskaran, Director of the Air India Aviation Academy, in the presence of Prof. Manoj Chaudhary, Vice-Chancellor of Gati Shakti University (GSV), and Prof. Pradeep Garg, Dean (Executive Education).

It is noteworthy that Gati Shakti University (a central university under the Ministry of Railways) has recently announced a partnership with Airbus to promote aerospace education, training, and research in India. Working with an “industry-driven” approach, Gati Shakti University (GSV) is already conducting regular and executive education programs for various transportation and logistics sectors, including railways, ports and shipping, and metro rail technology. Gati Shakti University (GSV) has also started a B.Tech course in aircraft engineering from this academic year.
