CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “A state-level meeting of the Global Confederation of Cow-based Industries (GCCI) was held at LNCT University. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Vallabh Bhai Kathiriya, National President of GCCI (former Union Minister and Chairman of the National Kamdhenu Commission).

Dr. Anupam Chokse, Chancellor of JNCT Professional University, who was present as a distinguished guest, highlighted the commitment of the LNCT Group in the field of cow-based education and research.

On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor of LNCT University and Cow Service Volunteer, Madhya Pradesh University Unit Coordinator, N.K. Thapak also participated.

In his address, Dr. Thapak said, ‘The core objective of the National Education Policy 2020 is to develop an education system based on Indian values. The cow tradition, deeply rooted in India’s cultural heritage, is still relevant and can serve as a strong foundation for an Atmanirbhar Bharat.’ He also explained how cow-based products can help maintain environmental balance and prevent serious diseases.

The meeting was attended by district presidents of GCCI, departmental coordinators, and representatives of cow service organizations from various districts of Madhya Pradesh.

Dr. Vallabh Bhai Kathiriya, in his speech, emphasized that in an agrarian country like India, if industries are developed around the cow, it would not only empower the rural economy but also strengthen the nation’s self-reliance.

It was decided during the meeting that in the coming months, cow-based startups, training programs, and research projects will be initiated in various universities and institutions across the state.”
