CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On 21 December, millions of people across the world will meditate together during the Global Heartfulness Meditation Session organized on the occasion of World Meditation Day. From Madhya Pradesh alone, including Bhopal, more than one million registrations have already been recorded. The global Heartfulness organization is observing the day with the theme “One World, One Heart,” reflecting the spirit of collective peace, inner stability, and shared humanity. The session will be guided by Daaji, Global Guide of Heartfulness and President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission, and will be broadcast from Kanha Shanti Vanam, the global headquarters of Heartfulness and one of the world’s largest meditation centers.
On this occasion, India’s Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan, Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will participate in the program at Kanha Shanti Vanam. Thousands of participants will meditate together at the venue, while lakhs of people from different parts of the world will join virtually. From Madhya Pradesh, a large number of seekers will connect online through YouTube at 8:00 pm on 21 December to take part in this global meditation.

When people from different nations meditate together on 21 December 2025, it will not merely be a moment of individual calm, but a symbol of the awakening of collective consciousness. In today’s fast-paced, competitive, and stress-filled world, meditation has become a necessity rather than a choice. It is no longer limited to a spiritual practice, but has emerged as a powerful medium for mental health, emotional balance, and social harmony. Through its simple and practical meditation method, Heartfulness helps individuals achieve inner balance and clarity.
Sharing his message on this initiative, Daaji stated that the purpose of Heartfulness is not only to make meditation simple and accessible, but also to inspire people to integrate it into their daily lives. He emphasized that when an individual meditates, positive change occurs within and naturally spreads outward. He added that if a million people meditate at the same time, it can bring about positive and lasting transformation in the world, guiding humanity toward a calmer, more compassionate future, which he described as true progressive development.

Heartfulness is based on the understanding that much of human life is guided by emotions and subtle inner impulses that provide direction. The practice encourages individuals to focus with clarity on their inner space, especially the heart. When the mind and heart work in harmony, decisions become more balanced and life gains stability. This is why Heartfulness places special emphasis on heart-based meditation as a practical path to inner listening and conscious living.
The session is open to everyone, including youth, students, professionals, and people from all sections of society. This free practice includes the unique Heartfulness method of Pranahuti, which helps practitioners naturally progress toward deeper states of calm and awareness. Many practitioners report increased emotional stability, deeper clarity, and greater composure in responding to daily challenges through regular Heartfulness meditation.
