CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Singh held a crucial review meeting at the District Panchayat Auditorium to assess the preparations for the upcoming Global Investors Summit.
The meeting was attended by Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, Municipal Commissioner Harendra Narayan, ADM Siddharth Jain, CEO Smart City Anju Arun Kumar, CEO District Panchayat Ila Tiwari, and other relevant officials.
During the meeting, Commissioner Singh directed officials to ensure smooth traffic management, entry pass arrangements, and seamless guest movement during the summit. He emphasized that all visitors should receive clear information about their entry time and location to prevent any inconvenience. Additionally, he reviewed the preparations for entry checkpoints, the main event venue, and traffic management.
The Commissioner instructed government offices in Bhopal to implement special lighting arrangements to enhance the city’s ambiance during the summit. He also stressed the need for special training sessions for drivers to familiarize them with routes to the event venue, hotels, and parking areas. Furthermore, to ensure guest convenience, he directed that duty buses display the names of their respective destination hotels.
Additionally, he assigned the responsibility of liaison officers and emphasized that experienced officials should be chosen for this role.
