CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: West Central Railway General Manager Shobhana Bandopadhyay inspected the Bhopal–Ramganj Mandi new railway line project along with concerned officials.
It is noteworthy that the total cost of the 276-kilometre-long Bhopal–Ramganj Mandi new railway line project is ₹3,035 crore. In this project, the 111-kilometre stretch from Bhopal to Biaora falls under the Bhopal division, while the remaining section comes under the Kota division. A total of 26 stations fall under the Ramganj Mandi–Bhopal new railway line project, including Ramganj Mandi, Julmi, Jhalawar, Jhalarapatan, Junakheda, Ametha, Aklera, Pachola, Ghatoli, Nayagaon, Bhojpur, Devpura, Khilchipur, Rajgarh, Narsinghpur, Biaora, Piplkheda, Sonkatch, Narsinghgarh, Jamuniyagane, Kurawar, Shyampur, Duraha, Jarkheda, Mugaliyahat, and Sant Hirdaram Nagar.

General Manager Shobhana Bandopadhyay carried out a formal inspection of the newly constructed Rajgarh station under the Bhopal–Ramganj Mandi new rail project. Rajgarh station, categorized under NSG-5, is the largest railway station in the Ramganj Mandi–Biaora section. The station yard consists of four lines, constructed to facilitate the smooth operation of both passenger and goods trains.
During the inspection tour, the General Manager also carried out tree plantation at Rajgarh station, where a landscaped garden has been developed. She also inspected the largest Nevaz Bridge located between Rajgarh and Biaora on this new rail line. This bridge is 1,200 metres long and 26–41 metres high. The GM conducted a detailed inspection of all technical aspects of the station building and the Nevaz Bridge.
During the inspection, Chief Administrative Officer (Construction) M.S. Hashmi, Chief Project Manager Pankaj Soin, Deputy Chief Engineers (Construction) Mohd. Wasim and Gaurav Mishra, Chief Engineer (Electrical) Man Singh, Chief Engineer (Signalling & Telecommunication) Gyan Prakash, and other officials were present.
