CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced that on the completion of the government’s successful two years, special programs will be organized on 13 December in Bhopal and 14 December in Indore. After the formation of the government, several significant decisions have been taken for the welfare of the poor, farmers, youth, and women. Efforts are underway to double the irrigation area for agriculture in the state through the Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign and several major projects. Emphasis is also being laid on industrial development to create more employment opportunities for the youth. He stated that Madhya Pradesh currently has the highest industrial growth rate in the country.
Dr. Yadav added that the state is committed to systems based on good governance. “We will always support good work, and if anything wrong happens anywhere, it will not be tolerated,” he said. He further stated that Madhya Pradesh has recently achieved a remarkable milestone in the direction of eliminating Naxalism. The largest surrender of Naxalites in the state has taken place in Balaghat, and the future goal is to eradicate Naxalism from its roots.
Dr. Yadav shared these views while speaking to the media in Indore before departing for Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. It is noteworthy that Dr. Yadav will participate in the Atal Jyoti Sandesh Yatra in Dharmavaram, Sri Sathya Sai district of Andhra Pradesh, marking the conclusion of the birth centenary year celebrations of former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
