CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Honorable Governor Mangubhai Patel interacted with the students of the Krishna Devi Vanvasi Girls’ School, established by the Deen Dayal Research Institute, during his two-day visit to Chitrakoot in Satna district.
He mentioned that the 108th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna and national sage Nanaji Deshmukh is being celebrated, and the students are fortunate to study at a school founded by him. He encouraged the students to think big, advance in life, and contribute to society by spreading awareness. The Governor advised them to practice Surya Namaskar daily and include millets, salads, and green vegetables in their diet.
The Governor also elaborated on the bravery and exemplary character of Veerangana Rani Durgavati. On this occasion, the students of the residential school showcased Surya Namaskar yoga activities, martial arts dumbbell demonstrations, and collective Gayatri Mantra recitations, along with cultural performances. Governor Patel distributed baskets of fruits to the girls and joined them for breakfast.
The event was attended by Higher Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar, District Panchayat President Ramkhelawan Kol, DRI Secretary Abhay Mahajan, Treasurer Basant Pandit, Rewa Division Commissioner BS Jamod, IG Mahendra Singh Sikarwar, Collector Anurag Verma, Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Gupta, SDM Jitendra Verma, and DRI representatives. Governor Mangubhai Patel also visited an exhibition based on millet.
