CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC), Dr. Rajeshlal Mehra, along with Member Dr. Narendra Koshti, Secretary Rakhi Sahay, and Controller of Examinations Dr. V.K. Gupta, paid a courtesy visit to Governor Mangubhai Patel at Raj Bhavan. They presented to the Governor the 68th Annual Report of the Commission.

During the meeting, Dr. Mehra informed Governor Patel that during the year 2024–25, the Commission issued 71 recruitment advertisements for 5,581 posts across various departments of the State Government. The Commission conducted the State Service Examinations and State Forest Service Examinations for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025, including both preliminary and main examinations.

Additionally, the Commission organized two-tier examinations and the State Eligibility Test (SET). During the same period, 6,260 candidates were invited for interviews, and recommendations for the appointment of 1,479 candidates to various government departments were sent to the state government.

Dr. Mehra further informed that, to enhance quality improvement and provide useful information about the Commission’s various activities to the candidates, an innovative e-newsletter titled ‘Samvadiya’ has been launched.

To maintain confidentiality and efficiency in recruitment processes, a ‘Subject Expert Portal’ has also been initiated to invite subject specialists for examination-related confidential work. Similarly, for the evaluation of State Service Main Examinations, answer sheets are now being scanned and evaluated through on-screen marking, ensuring transparency and accuracy in the process.
