CNN Central News & Network – ITDC India Express / ITDC News Bhopal: Governor Mangubhai Patel attended the memorial and interfaith prayer meeting held at Central Library, Barkatullah Bhavan, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy. The event honored the memory of the victims through prayers recited by leaders of various religions.
Governor Patel, along with the attendees, observed two minutes of silence in tribute to the departed souls.
The memorial service was also attended by prominent figures, including Tribal Welfare, Bhopal Gas Tragedy, and Rehabilitation Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Sarang, Minister of State for Backward Class and Minority Welfare Krishna Gaur (Independent Charge), Mayor Malti Rai, Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, Principal Secretary Sandeep Yadav, and other distinguished citizens.
