CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Today, NITTTR Bhopal organized a grand event to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the national song “Vande Mataram.” In his emotional address, Director Prof. C.C. Tripathi said that this song, written by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay in 1875, is not merely a song but represents the soul of India and an inspiration for the freedom struggle.

During the program, he conveyed to students and staff the historical significance of the song and emphasized its role in strengthening patriotic feelings. He stated, “‘Vande Mataram’—these are not just words; it is a mantra, a unique energy, a resolve, and a symbol of deep devotion to the nation. These words are connected to our history, our culture, and our soul. Heartfelt congratulations to everyone on this historic occasion of 150 glorious years of ‘Vande Mataram.’”

During the event, faculty members, officials, staff, and students sang “Vande Mataram” together to pay homage to Mother India. The entire NITTTR campus reflected an atmosphere of patriotism and pride.
