CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “Teachers guide us on the path to reach God, and their place in our lives should be supreme.” With these words, Prof. Dev Anand Hindolia, Vice-Chancellor of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi University, addressed thousands of students present in the auditorium. He emphasized that hard work and self-reliance are the foundation of a noble life. Prof. Hindolia joined as the Chief Guest at the grand Teacher’s Day celebration of Sant Hirdaram Group of Institutions. He urged students to adopt Swadeshi, rise above caste and religion, and work in the national interest. He also highlighted the vital role of teachers in the age of innovation and research, stressing the importance of instilling morality, harmony, and patriotism among students. Encouraging the students, he remarked that the daughters of the nation are its mother power, entrusted with the responsibility of shaping future generations.
On this occasion, Revered Siddh Bhauji, in his inspirational address, told the students that education is not just a means to a bright future but also the foundation of life values. He laid special emphasis on character building, pranayama, the influence of company, proper use of time, and the significance of self-discipline. Citing examples of great personalities like Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and Droupadi Murmu, he underlined the permanence of knowledge and the indispensability of values in life.

The program, which began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, saw Dr. Dalima Parwani, Principal of Sant Hirdaram Girls’ College, stressing that a teacher not only imparts knowledge but also instills values and culture. She further explained that it is the duty of a teacher to inspire students to ask the right questions and guide them toward honesty, tolerance, and continuous self-development.

In his address, Dr. Ashish Thakur, Director of Sant Hirdaram Institute of Management, urged students to remain connected with their teachers, stating that a teacher’s responsibility goes beyond teaching and extends to the building of society and the nation. Similarly, Ankesh Singh, Principal of Sant Hirdaram Medical College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, spoke about the ideals and objectives of the institution, conveying messages of humility, dedication, renunciation of ego, and preservation of Indian culture and traditions. He encouraged students to stay away from social media and focus on skill development.

In the second part of the program, along with the felicitation of teachers, students presented attractive cultural performances. These talented students were also awarded incentive prizes by Chief Guest Prof. Dev Anand Hindolia. The presence of Vice-President Hero Gyanchandani, senior member A.C. Sadhwani, Academic Director Gopal Girdhani, along with all faculty members, administrative staff, and a large number of students, added to the grandeur of the event.
