CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Grand Focus on Financial Inclusion and Social Entrepreneurship on Day 2 of the 4th Samarth Bharat Conclave 2025

Taking a meaningful step toward building an Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India), the second day of the 4th Samarth Bharat Conclave 2025 was dedicated to crucial themes such as financial inclusion and social entrepreneurship. Held in Bhopal, the event witnessed participation from policymakers, banking experts, academicians, and social organizations from across the country.

The inaugural session was graced by Gautam Tetwal, Minister of State for Skill Development and Employment, Government of Madhya Pradesh, as the Chief Guest. Distinguished guests on the dais included C. Saraswati, CGM at NABARD; Manoj Kumar, General Manager at SBI LHO (NW-3); Tarsem Singh Jeera, GM at Central Bank of India, Zonal Office; Vimal Kumar Khabya, DGM at SBI; Jitendra Kumar, DGM at SBI LHO; Himanshu Vyas, DGM at Union Bank of India; Santosh Choubey, Chairman of AISECT Group; Siddharth Chaturvedi, Executive Vice President of AISECT; and Anurag Gupta, Director at AISECT.

Minister Gautam Tetwal highlighted that AISECT is making a significant contribution to realizing the dream of a developed India. He emphasized that a developed nation means empowering every citizen and connecting all to the mainstream. He underlined three critical pillars essential for a developed India:

Skill Development

Financial Inclusion

Social Entrepreneurship

He stressed the need for youth who are not just opportunity-seekers but opportunity-creators.

On this occasion, Mr. Santosh Choubey stated that AISECT is currently operating over 60,000 centers and has expanded its network to more than 65 countries. AISECT was the pioneer in launching financial kiosk centers, which have now grown to nearly 8,000. The organization is now aiming to scale up to 10,000 kiosks and cross revenue of ₹100 crores.

Mr. Siddharth Chaturvedi remarked that AISECT has been working extensively in the field of financial inclusion for a long time. As with every year, financial inclusion meetings will be held at more than 20 locations across India this year as well. He added that AISECT plans to train over 2,000 women entrepreneurs and provide them with a wide range of services this year.
