CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At LNCT College, Bhopal, pharmacy students and teachers celebrated World Pharmacist Day with great enthusiasm. The event began with the pharmacy students taking an oath, followed by various activities. After the internal program, all the students and teachers organized a health awareness rally in Amjhara village, where everyone actively participated.
As part of the health awareness program, the students performed street plays on themes such as de-addiction, cancer awareness, tuberculosis prevention, and provided various health and medicine-related information to the villagers. During the village tour, sanitary napkins, snacks, stationery, and fruits were distributed.
On this occasion, Ashok Rai, the administrative director of the group, congratulated the students on Pharmacy Day and encouraged them by emphasizing the important role of a good pharmacist in society. Lakshmi Narayan College of Pharmacy, Bhopal’s director, Parul Mehta, highlighted the significance of World Pharmacist Day and the vital role pharmacists play in the healthcare sector, expressing gratitude to all the guests, students, and villagers.
The successful organization of this event was made possible through the tireless efforts of all the students, under the guidance of Payal Seju and Priyanka Namdev.
