CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal, 22 February 2026: The third and final day of the three-day annual cultural festival “Opacity’26 – Raaste” concluded with energy, creativity, and enthusiasm at the National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh.

The closing day began with sports competitions. Students participated enthusiastically in a football match held on the football ground and in an exciting race. The sporting activities fostered team spirit, discipline, and healthy competition among participants.

Throughout the festival, the food, art, and craft stalls set up across the campus remained a major attraction. Students and visitors enjoyed local delicacies and creative products. On this occasion, the chief guest planted a sapling, symbolizing the institute’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental conservation.

At 3:00 PM, the “Naksh Fashion Show” held in the main auditorium became the highlight of the closing day. This year’s fashion show themes were “Monuments of India” and “Lehar.” The student designs showcased a striking blend of Indian architectural grandeur, cultural diversity, and modern perspectives. Participants presented their concepts while highlighting design inspiration, structure, and futuristic vision. The unique and innovative outfits received special appreciation from the audience.

At 4:30 PM, the closing ceremony awarded prizes and certificates to winners of various competitions. The program was followed by a high tea, providing an opportunity for informal interaction and engagement.

In the evening, a musical performance in the auditorium added a festive and celebratory tone to the closing day. Amidst music and lights, students bid a memorable farewell to “Opacity’26 – Raaste.”
