CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A grand Garba festival was organized at Bhabha University in celebration of the Navratri festival, with all students and staff participating with great enthusiasm and dressed in traditional attire. Students from all departments of the university took part in the Garba competition. During this event, Aditi Rani from the Dental Department received the first prize for Best Garba Dance, Priyanka Patel from the Management Department received the second prize, and Trishti Lovanshi from the Nursing Department received the third prize. Surjit from the Paramedical Department was awarded for Best Traditional Attire, and students from the Dental Department were recognized for Best Group Garba Dance. All the awards were presented to the students by Dr. Namish Mehta, Dean of Student Welfare at Bhabha University.

The event also featured the Maha Aarti of Maa Durga, attended by the university’s CEO Mr. Prasad Pillai, Group Director Dr. Manoj Shukla, Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. N.K. Agrawal, Registrar Dr. Shyam Patkar, and all the deans and principals of the departments, along with the entire staff, who prayed to the Goddess for the bright future of the university and its students.

The successful organization of the event was carried out by Prof. Sanjeev Srivastava (Dancing Uncle), head of the university’s Cultural Department, and his team, while the stage was managed by Professor Sonali Tanwar from the university.
