CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The LNCT Group inaugurated the Inter College & Inter School Basketball Championship 2024, a four-day tournament, with great fanfare at LNCT College, Raisen Road, Bhopal. The event was inaugurated by Shweta Choukse, Managing Director of LNCT Group, in the presence of Dr. Ashok Rai, Director Dean Administration LNCT, Pankaj Jain, Sports Director LNCT, Amitbodh Upadhyay, OSD LNCTS, and Amit Srivastava.
All players participated in a march past.
In the Inter School Boys Category league matches, SBM defeated St. George 20-4, Campion won against Father Angle 21-16, St. Thomas triumphed over MGPS 29-7, Iconic beat Monfort 44-30, and St. Joseph Co-Ed overcame St. Paul 29-4 to advance to the next round.
In the Inter School Girls Category league matches, Father Angle defeated Monfort 24-2, St. Joseph Co-Ed won against St. George 19-4, and St. Thomas beat St. George 16-4 to progress to the next round.
The tournament is being conducted in a league and knockout format. College-level matches will be played this evening. Referees for the tournament include Arjunan Suresh, Vijay Ji, Kamlesh Shakya, Gautam Kherwar, and Rishi Havale.
