CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Environmental Club of the Faculty of Management at Bhabha University organised a tree plantation programme under the “Green Campus Drive 2026”. The campaign aims to increase green cover on the university campus, promote biodiversity, spread awareness about environmental protection and sensitise students to climate change.
The programme was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Bharti Satankar, Pro-Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Breeze Tripathi, Dean, Faculty of Management. On the occasion, all faculty members and staff of the Faculty of Management, along with about 250 MBA first-semester students, participated enthusiastically.
Prof. Anjali Shivhare, Prof. Alice Asthana, Prof. Neetu Sawai and Prof. Nagma Khan were also present at the programme. They joined the students in planting saplings and conveyed the message of environmental conservation.
In her motivational address, Prof. (Dr.) Bharti Satankar highlighted the importance of tree plantation, saying trees are essential for the balance of the earth, a clean environment and human life. She urged students to plant as many saplings as possible during the academic session, take regular care of them and help them remain safe and grow by watering them every day.
At the end of the programme, all students and those present took a pledge to actively contribute to building a green and clean campus and to environmental protection.
