CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Demonstrating an exemplary blend of technology, education, and environment, the State Bank of India (SBI) and the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bhopal have jointly launched Madhya Pradesh’s first “Green High-Tech Computer Lab for Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Research.” This innovative project has been realized under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives of SBI Bhopal Circle.

On this historic occasion, SBI Bhopal Circle Chief and Deputy Managing Director Chandrashekhar Sharma, along with IIIT Bhopal Director Ashutosh Singh, inaugurated the lab. Calling it a “laboratory of the future,” Sharma remarked, “This convergence of AI and green technology will not only drive technological advancement but also serve as a long-term investment for society.”

Present at the event were Kundan Jyoti (GM-I), Sudhanshu Das (Deputy GM), Sai Krishna Sridhara (Deputy GM, Bhopal Module), other senior SBI officials, and professors from IIIT Bhopal.

The digital green infrastructure aims to not just educate students on cutting-edge technology, but also instill a strong sense of environmental responsibility, sustainability, and innovation.
