CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In the Lok Sabha elections, Congress candidate Guddu Raja Bundela, along with senior party members, inspected the EVM strong room and the counting center at the Government Indira Gandhi Engineering College in Sagar. Following the voting for the Lok Sabha elections, Guddu Raja Bundela reviewed the security of the EVM machines stored in the strong room and the preparations for the vote counting on May 4.
Bundela was accompanied by Balakisan Nayak Nanna Ji, a recipient of the President’s Award, former minister Surendra Chaudhary, former MLA Sunil Jain, City Congress President Rajkumar Pachauri, Mukul Purohit, Ramkumar Pachauri, Prince Raja, and others. During the inspection, they observed the security measures for the machines, including CCTV cameras and other arrangements, as well as the preparations made by the administration for the counting process. Considering the intense heat, Bundela also requested the election authorities to arrange for cold drinking water and coolers.
