As part of its annual tradition, Guru Nanak Charitable Medical Center organized a grand free medical camp on Sunday at the Gurudwara Complex, TT Nagar, to celebrate the Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The camp featured specialists in physiotherapy, pediatrics, general medicine, dermatology, ENT, cardiology, dentistry, and ophthalmology. Around 1,152 patients were examined during the camp. Based on the doctors’ consultations, patients were provided with free medicines, and BMD tests were also conducted at no cost.
The free medical camp was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani, BJP State General Secretary and popular MLA of the South-West Assembly, by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Shri Sabnani praised the Sikh community for its unparalleled spirit of service, stating that Sikhs are recognized worldwide for their commitment to selfless service. He remarked, “Wherever there is a Gurudwara, no one can sleep hungry.” He also commended the activities of the center and assured his support whenever needed. Shri Sabnani prayed to Guru Nanak Dev Ji for the speedy recovery of all patients.
The president of the organization, J.P.S. Arora, welcomed the guests by presenting them with plants. Notable attendees included Basant Rathi, Mrs. Manpreet Gaur, and Ram Upkar Preet Singh. The vote of thanks was delivered by Chairman Kuldeep Singh Gulati.
