In response to the Prime Minister’s call for the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare will organize a state-level grand Tricolor march on August 12, 2024, at Subhash Nagar Sports Ground, Bhopal. The event will be inaugurated by Honorable Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, with Honorable Sports Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang presiding over the program. Approximately 5,000 athletes and school children will participate in this grand Tricolor march. The march will start at 9:00 AM from Subhash Chandra Bose Ground and will pass through Subhash Nagar, Ashok Bihar, Parihar Square, and end at Nehru Square (New Ashoka Garden). The program will also feature a police band, a cycling group, and skaters.
Olympians Vivek Sagar and Aishwary Pratap Singh to be Special Guests
Olympians Vivek Sagar and Aishwary Pratap Singh will be the special guests at the state-level grand Tricolor march. Both Aishwary and Vivek Sagar are two-time Olympians and serve as inspirations for the youth of the state.
Freedom Fighters and Their Families to be Honored
Before the commencement of the Tricolor march, freedom fighters from Bhopal and their families will be honored as part of the state-level “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign.
Grand Tricolor March to Ensure Participation with a Sense of National Pride
Sports Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang stated that the grand Tricolor march is organized to ensure everyone’s participation with a sense of national pride. The “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign events will be held across the state from August 13 to 15, 2024.
To take the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign to every corner of the state, Sports Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang had discussions with all sports officials in the state. He directed that the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign should reach all 313 blocks of the state. He mentioned that two programs would also be organized in Bhopal by the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare, MP.
The state-level program will commence on August 12, 2024, with the grand Tricolor march at Subhash Nagar Sports Ground under the chief patronage of the Chief Minister. On August 15, 2024, the Tricolor will be hoisted over the Big Lake to inspire a sense of patriotism. He urged the youth and the general public to join this campaign.
