CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the joint initiative of the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit and the Red Ribbon Club of Sant Hirdaram Girls College, various activities were successfully organized at Gram Mugliya Hat. The program began with an NSS volunteer-led village survey, during which important information regarding sanitation, drinking water, toilet facilities, and residential arrangements was collected from the villagers.
Volunteers visited households to engage in dialogue and gain in-depth understanding of local issues. In parallel, Red Ribbon Club volunteers organized a rally to raise awareness about the HIV virus. Through the rally, villagers were educated about health, safe lifestyles, and disease prevention measures.
On this occasion, the college Principal, Dalima Parwani, said that such programs not only aid in the holistic development of students but also make significant contributions toward bringing positive changes in society. Initiatives by NSS and the Red Ribbon Club inspire students with a sense of social responsibility and help spread awareness in rural communities.
This event proved to be a meaningful effort in fostering social consciousness, health awareness, and responsibility toward cleanliness among villagers. The college management congratulated all members of the NSS unit for the successful organization of the program.
