Health and Self-Defense Camp for Women Organized at Bhabha University

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A successful health check-up camp and self-defense training program for women was organized at Bhabha University. In this program, Dr. Sonal Vaghela (MBBS, Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialist), Breeze Tripathi, Bharti Satankar, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Bhabha University, and Apoorva Dwivedi provided women with important information on general and oral health.

The program was conducted under the leadership of Professor Unnati Pitale, Dean of Bhabha College of Dental Sciences. This initiative was organized as part of the “Healthy Woman, Empowered Family Campaign” (Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India).

The program was guided by Dr. Bharti Satankar and Registrar Shyam Patkar of Bhabha University. Many women from Bhabha University benefited from the program, becoming more aware of health issues and empowered in terms of self-defense.
