CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the third day of the Healthy Women & Empowered Families Campaign run by BMHRC, large-scale health awareness and screening programs were conducted. At all eight city health centers, women were educated on menstrual hygiene, breast cancer, cervical cancer, HPV vaccination, and maternal & child nutrition. General health checkups were also conducted.
At the Government Girls’ School in Piplani, specialist doctors held a special camp to discuss gynecological issues and distributed sanitary napkins to the students. This initiative, under the BMHRC Service Fortnight, contributed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaign on women’s health.

A special health screening camp was organized at Health Center No. 7, BMHRC campus, where gynecology specialists including Dr. Jyoti Tulsani examined women and provided consultations. 88 women received guidance on breast cancer, lump detection, use of i-Breast equipment, cervical cancer, and maternal health. At other centers, women were educated about child nutrition and diet.
Director-in-Charge, Manisha Srivastava, stated that women’s active participation is encouraging and that this campaign will pave the way for family and societal progress.
Additionally, BMHRC sanitation workers underwent health screenings, including tests for oral cancer, diabetes, blood pressure, and BMI. Under Swachhta Hi Seva Fortnight 5.0, a “Art from Waste” competition was also organized, where participants created beautiful artworks from waste materials to promote the message of cleanliness.
