CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A free health check-up camp and food distribution programme for senior citizens was organised at Ananddham Ashram under the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' in the South-West Assembly constituency. Area MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani and Mayor Malti Rai were specially present at the programme.
During the camp, a team of specialist doctors conducted health check-ups of all elderly residents living in the ashram and provided them with necessary medicines. Thereafter, food and fruits were respectfully distributed to all the senior citizens, and they were honoured with coconuts and shawls.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani said, "Service to humanity is service to Madhav; this principle always inspires us to selflessly serve the last person in society."

During the programme, a message of environmental protection was also given, and saplings were planted on the ashram premises under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign.

BJP district general secretary Mukesh Rai, senior BJP leaders Rajesh Khatik, Shailendra Nigam, Santosh Brahmbhatt, Vinod Prajapati, Kavita Anuragi, along with local booth presidents and a large number of workers, were present during this service activity.
