CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A successful health camp and workshop were organized at Sarojini Naidu Government Girls Postgraduate (Autonomous) College, Bhopal by the college’s Department of Dietetics and Nutrition, in collaboration with Government Jaiprakash Hospital. The key activities and achievements of the camp included:
Hemoglobin tests for nearly 300 students and staff members.
Consultation with gynecologists for 55 students.
CBC tests conducted for 224 students and staff.
Issuance of 162 ABHA Cards (Ayushman Bharat Health Account).
Distribution of multivitamins, iron, folic acid, calcium supplements, ORS packets, antifungal, and antiseptic creams to nearly 500 students and staff.
Dietary consultations provided to 51 students.
Inauguration and Keynote Speeches
In her welcome address, Principal Dipti Srivastava emphasized the importance of health for achieving personal and professional aspirations. She urged students to take full advantage of the camp to improve their health.
Chief Medical Officer of Jaiprakash Hospital, Prabhakar Tiwari, provided insights into various government health schemes such as ABHA Card, Ayushman Bharat Digital ID, Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Yojana, and Anemia Mukt Bharat. He assured continued support for such initiatives in the future.

The health camp and workshop were made successful through the efforts of Anita Chaurasia (Head of the Department, Dietetics and Nutrition), Manjula Biswas, Renu Srivastava, Administrative Officer Dr. Ashok Nema, and faculty members Sonali Srivastava and Sunita Mahto.
Both institutions remain committed to improving students’ health and plan to organize more such camps and workshops in the future to ensure that the youth benefit fully from health-related initiatives.
